Orlandopup - Who are we?

Orlandopup LLC is a new organization here in Arizona dedicated to helping dog guardians who are ill or unable to care for their pets due to extenuating life circumstances. We focus on shouldering the burden for families who are away for extended medical absences, personal work travel, family leave or crisis.

Sometimes having a home and people to care for ones pet is the family’s primary concern. This is what Orlandopup aims to provide! We work with about six different well-established nonprofits to facilitate temporary solutions for you. Solutions such as housing, food, beds, medical care, love, and guidance for pets in need. We may provide certified vet techs as your pet’s temporary guardian while they stay under our care. If necessary, we are prepared to find a new loving home for your pet.

Recently 2 senior min-pins sisters whose dad was in the midst of dealing with a life-changing illness leaving him no longer able to provide proper care for the girls, turned to us for help. He was looking for an equally loving home with a wish for the girls to stay together. Orlandopup worked with our rescue partners to provide temporary foster housing. We eventually found them a wonderful new home with someone who had recently lost her own dog. The girl’s dad was pleased to know they were going to stay together and be in a loving home!

Orlandopup was created out of a need in our community not being filled by traditional pet services. If you or someone you know can no longer care for that family pet, please consider using our service to help. We can assist with housing, boarding, fostering, or re-homing that pet. Even though we have a limited number of spaces, our goal is to prevent pets from being abandoned or resigned to a shelter. So please call us so we can help you or someone you know!
